Tamarillos

Tamarillos are forest plants so need shelter from frost, protection from wind and lots of leaf litter or mulch. They also needs companion planting of overhead shelter to do well, and protection from slugs and snails. Sarah Frater (ediblegarden.co.nz) I grew tamarillos from seed.
