Homegrown garlic is so much nicer than those imported varieties in the shops. I sowed and harvested my first crop last year and it was a revelation. So deliciously garlic! Brianna Gabriel, Hamilton Garlic needs full sun in free-draining soil. It won’t do well in light sandy soils, nor heavy, soggy clay. Keep beds weed free.
