The ‘Mistel’ Combo

The sustained V1 Flying Bomb and V2 rocket attacks against Britain were not Luftwaffe operations as such, although the German air force did use another flying bomb – the Mistel. None were specifically aimed at Britain, but three of these unusual devices did explode on land in England during 1944.
